OUR
STORY
This is a guide to rekindle social wellbeing, through care practice, research and generative conversations.
We all understand the importance of looking after our body and our mind, but in a world where individualism reigns supreme, very few of us know how to take care of our social health and wellness. That’s where we come in.
Building on health and wellbeing research, we are interested in the small and intentional actions that contribute to societal healing. We believe that sharing lived experience and common humanity offers new wisdom and hope, and in needing each other, we are more equipped for repair and change.
We know social movements take time, patience and unlearning, but we’re here to help elevate diverse voices and ways of being. After all, we’re better together.
OUR
FOUNDER
From field work to corporate research, I have spent my career exploring the intersection of community, connection and social wellbeing.
Loneliness and isolation is bold in health statistics, but it hides in the shadows of our day to day lives. Instead of tolerating tendencies to pathologise, I focus on how individual symptoms are indicators of societal dilemmas. In my work, I prioritise the power of small-scale change, and the ways it can reverberate at large.
I have been researching and advocating in health and welfare for over a decade. In my practice, I use participatory methods and design to centre social connection in projects, policies and services.
As an interdisciplinary expert in social wellbeing, my mission is to lead the way for healthier relationships, societies and communities.
